This is a fantastic documentary about an incredible man and puppeteer. I would highly check it out, really shows you how much care and effort was put into not only his performance but the performance of every puppeteer that worked with Jim.
It was honestly kind of sad at parts and my heart dropped when the phone call turned out to be about Jim’s death and not the father.
A must watch!

A very saccharine documentary that I would not be able to stand if I didn’t care deeply about it’s subject. I had the pleasure of meeting Caroll Spinney twice; Once in 2014 and once in 2018. Seeing his health deteriorate over that time was heart breaking. He’s a lovely man and an inspiration, I do recommend this documentary but only if you can handle a lot of forced sweetness and sadness.
