the chillest zombies in any zombie movie i have ever watched before (maybe other than warm bodies). kinda liked how the zombies didn’t kill through the usual biting method.

could technically put this as a rewatch but i only have a vague memory of seeing a bit of this movie when i was a kid. all i remember was the chainsaw wielding zombie bride.

This movie has everything i love about cheap 80s films- it has that VHS look, the acting is so bad it's good and (most of) the characters are funny.

It also has everything i hate about cheap 80s films- bad editing and it draaaaaags. Not everything has to meet the 90 minute mark. This could have been ~65 minutes and it would be soo great.

The concept is soo good and needs a remake.

Idk why they called it The Video Dead because it makes you think it will be a rip off the evil dead but it actually has its own thing and its really funny. But too padded!

Also the poster is sooo good!
