Wow, what a beautiful little movie with a truly stunning performance.
To be able to portray someone like Steven Hawking is a feat to behold. It is one thing to portray brilliance, but his ability to combine this with all the physical issues Hawking has is remarkable. An Oscar that is certainly well deserved.
Felicity Jones is so incredible as well. She is just as much a star as Eddie Redmayne in my opinion. And boy is she beautiful.
The story is also just incredibly lovely. Centering around one of the most brilliant minds of the last 100 years, I expected a science heavy plot line. I was mistaken and glad for it. The theory of everything can be explained with mathematics down the road, but math can not explain things like human behavior, family dynamics, and the power of love.
I am also choosing to ignore some of the infidelity suggestions that the movie adds in but refuses to explore deeply since it is just PG-13. Ignore that and the movie is much better.
