A crunchy, lo-fi, indie, black comedy about a school shooting, and for a film with a premise like that, it's surprisingly NOT that dark. It's raw, provocative, weirdly slice of life and slackerish in its approach, and extremely hilarious occasionally. It's got that 90s artsy indie surrealist affectation throughout (you know the kind I'm talking about) that is often prevalent in student films and directorial debuts. Unfortunately it overly indulges in narration and unnecessary scenes in its first act, holding it back from being a true hidden gem. As it stands it's worth a view. An obscure oddity that I'm sure will be a favourite for someone.
