This genre is slowly getting addictive for me. Pursued is more unique than the previous classical westerns that I have watched, featuring a different form of storytelling and more depth for side characters, making for a more impactful ending. It hooks you from the moment the film starts with the ambigousness of Jeb's childhood with a hugely traumatic moment he can't seem to remember the details of. The film even dabbled into courtroom dramas which is always something I'll adore. It's a spectacular tale of guilt, revenge, and deception. Tremendous.> "A person's gotta find his own answers. We're alone... each of us. Each in a different way."

8,5/10
