i keep fluctuating between thinking this movie is trash and thinking it’s genuinely really good. it’s definitely outdated in some aspects but it’s completely misadvertised. it’s not an exploitation film about a “seductress”, it’s a heartbreaking film that deals with a young girl’s trauma, class issues, and grooming.
some scenes are really funny and touching. & i think the score is stellar!
