The Puppet Master/Full Moonathon:
"I bid you good night and good lesson, clown" -Ilsa's Father
That's right, I'll be binging the "Puppet Master" franchise. Along with this I'll be watching several other Full Moon films so I don't have to go and do those later. The order I'll be watching these in can be seen at mook's list here: https://letterboxd.com/mook/list/viewing-order-puppet-master-universe/ And then maybe after that I'll make an effort to finish the Evil Bong movies (Lord have mercy). Alright, to the review!
This film is, above all things, painfully boring. It's overwhelmingly slow paced, and yet it's still 80 minutes, which should give you an impression of the depth of the plot. It has awful line readings, and everything that happens is hilariously anti-climactic. But to be fair, I did have my fun laughing at it, which saves it from being a complete dumpster fire.
Observation:
Claudiu Trandafir in this film kinda looks like 2008-era Jimmy Kimmel.
