This is one of the movies you never forget in your life, to see this is a representation of divorce court in israel in 2014 make you absolutely sick to your stomach after watching it. Pure torture is what she had to go through and like viviane said all she told and done was never enough for the rabbies, "Know your place woman" is one of the sentence you think you'll never hear in your life due to the evolution in our society but to her it seemed so common, absolute heartbreak

The courtroom drama is such a great genre of film because it seemingly flies in the face as to why things exist as a filmic medium in the first place. In truth it grants more intimacy into a situation, allowing heightened emotions to strike even harder as actors inject more subtlety into their movements. Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem's approach is simple and powerful, with the actors using the restrictive space very well, a parallel to the difficulty of divorce proceedings in Israel.
