❝See Father, there are these two jobs. One is easy, almost too easy, but it's boring. The other job is hard, so damn hard, but it makes people so happy.❞

Hail, Caesar! was charming and delightfully filmed, with a whole host of talented actors adding quirks to their respective characters. I really enjoyed George Clooney and Josh Brolin's performances (and the narration by Michael Gambon), but Alden Ehrenreich stole the show with his twangy Southern accent, and Tilda Swinton's dual roles were great, though I wish she had more screen-time. The plot was interesting, but it felt very jumbled and all the different stories didn't flow together very well, which let the film down massively. It's a shame, because I can see the vision, and it's unfortunate that it's not presented in the film; I'd still recommend this if you're a fan of any of the actors, though.
