Lan Yu loved with all his heart. He waited and he accepted. Handong loved, he ignored and he left. At the end of their relationship, it wasn't Lan Yu who left. Even though he died he was still there. He never abandoned Handong. There was an incredible loyalty. I am so mad at Handong. Why did he realize it so late? Why did he say those things? Why did he come and go as he pleased? His love was real but it was a selfish love. I can understand some of his reasons like social pressure, past experiences and his ideals might have made him this way. It is just so sad.
