captures so many human emotions so well. the characters aren't always likeable but they're written in such a sympathetic and realistic light that you can understand them, even when you find yourself asking "why the hell would they do that!!?" there was times i totally related to the main characters, and other times i wanted to throttle them all. really enjoyed though!!!

This movie is like watching a very stylish friend make a series of increasingly terrible life choices while insisting that everything is fine. Rohmer keeps it breezy and talky, and the Paris vibes are immaculate, but the emotional detachment sometimes drifts from “charming” to “okay but… why are we doing this?”
