Not particularly gripping or engaging overall, but I loved the atmosphere (especially during the actual walking with the zombie scene) and the post-colonial themes it gestures towards.

"She doesn't bleed."
Very close to a 4. I mean, very close. Despite the film being only 69 minutes, I found some parts of the film to be painfully boring. Which is typically the feeling I get when watching an old, hour-long horror film, like Cat People and The Leopard Man. This film was still very enjoyable and rather interesting. I'll consider a rewatch in the future, and then I might just up the rating. Recommended.

A short but incredibly potent horror film. It’s so atmospheric and sinister, with tremendous black and white visuals and a timeless script that’s nuanced and extremely intriguing. One of the most unique horror films I’ve ever seen.
