They finally figured out the perfect Norris vehicle. Just make a cheesy slasher film with a knockoff Michael Myers, and pepper Norris in sparingly until they have to fight at the end. I’m dead serious, this movie works because it is a versus film with more focus on the monster than the hero: Norris v Myers (lite).
It’s still not, you know, GOOD, but it is easily the most watchable Norris by a mile. It’s the closest he’s ever come to the coveted 3 stars. And to be honest? I’d watch Norris vs every slasher villain in a heartbeat. Norris v Freddy? V PINHEAD?? Give it to me.
