it was alr so good but then that last act just HIT, especially with cece coming to terms with her trauma. gorgeous performance from jake-ann jones, like during the ending when she's slowly unfolding her body like a butterfly from a cocoon. so earnest, so raw, so heartwarming, so captivating. we need to support more black women art as a society!!

Yay my 1000th diary entry and it was an awesome movie. 

This is yet again an awesome black indie film by a female director wich feels incredibly and is so enjoyable aswell as powerful and meaningful. 
The last two scenes are absolute incredible.
