I'd call this a vanity project a la Tommy Wiseau, Neil Breen, and Jeremy Saville, but the difference between any of those this is simple... At least the others write themselves into being their best selves. I can't tell if it was intentional comedy on Shore's part, but this version of Shore is reprehensible before he stages his death, and after. The "cool"est thing (big air quotes there) about this version of Shore is his money, aside from that, he's got nothing good going for him.
Also, this movie aged like milk that has been left in the sun since it's release. Homophobia, racism, rape jokes all abound. Barely recommended in general, but if you are the morbidly curious, only go in if you consider yourself heavily desensitized to the vulgar and inappropriate.
