Classic horror pastiche layered over a slasher but the time it was made gives it a sheen of lesser William Malone and it’s all mumbles for dialogue. I can appreciate what they’re going for.
Seriously, a restoration for the sound alone would help. Couldn’t hear dialogue over the score but the rattling of the prisoners’ chains sounded like it was in the room with me. And oh boy are those chains rattling in almost every scene.
