my valentine’s day plans didn’t originally include watching timothee chalamet play a young james franco but here we are. what the fuck was up with the wigs in this movie? anyway i really liked it so i was somewhat taken aback when i read the reviews and found that literally nobody else did. i also seem to be the only person who didn’t know this was about a real author and his memoir 😭 however an a24 movie with drugs, neon lights, true crime, and a life-ruining relationship with an abusive father kinda felt like it was made just for me so i don’t feel bad ab liking it
