For some reason I've always mixed this up with Party Monster, but where that one is all about the NYC club kids and glitter, this is the ultimate Manchester music history lesson.

I really loved the comedy and the whole "rock doc" vibe of it all. Steve Coogan is perfect as Tony Wilson, and having him break the fourth wall to admit which parts are total myths makes the whole thing feel so much more genuine. It’s messy, loud, and just a great tribute to Factory Records and the Hacienda.
