Features a very phoned in or possibly drunk Eric Roberts’ voiceover as “Older Bernie”

the title suggests a much more riveting story; though i guess i was riveted in a different way?
although i knew the kind of movie i was getting into, i was not prepared for the… performances
(the ending literally left my jaw on the floor and therefore im obligated to urge others to watch this)

The title gives such promise. It really does. Like maybe D.B. Cooper lands after jumping out of the plane with the $200,000 and he encounters the Sasquatch and has to try to survive. That would be cool and feasible to do on a budget for a David DeCoteau project. If he really wanted Eric Roberts in it he could even make Roberts, say, a private investigator sent by Cooper’s real (and unnamed, since Cooper is of course an alias) family to find him. The fatal flaw is that it is a David DeCoteau project - one of a number he and Roberts have done - and unlike A Talking Cat!?!, this one isn’t even fun to laugh at. Hell, this makes A Talking Cat!?! look like Citizen Kane by comparison. It almost gives me credence to DeCoteau’s comment on that one:
Perhaps you should take the hint, David. Make a fun action film that isn’t just shirtless young guys running around stalked by a Sasquatch who is clearly a freak with occasional bursts of Cooper and then we’ll talk. I couldn’t even finish this one it was so mind numbingly boring. Unless you too enjoy seeing young shirtless guys “turkey hunting” (this is not a euphemism) then this is a MUST SKIP.
"People have called me who I haven't seen since high school who said, 'David, after 100 movies you've finally made a movie we like.'"
