The Barbarians

This is just dumb, goofy fun, to be honest. Peter and David Paul cash in on their reputation as "The Barbarian Brothers" and star as just two half-naked himbos for about an hour and a half. The plot bounces like a rubber ball and the motivations for every character is thinner than the skin of a dehydrated bodybuilder, but the film still stands to be entertaining enough when the two brothers are acting like, well, brothers. The natural chemistry between the two of them make all the constant bickering between their characters come off as charming rather than annoying. Throw in enough cheesy practical effects and wet puppets and you have yourself a fun enough film.

The Barbarians
A cheap fantasy that borders on comedy that stars twin lovable knucklehead dorks. The Barbarians is nothing more than an effort to showcase David Paul and Peter Paul's muscles, comedic chops, muscles, and muscles. There are many clever moments in the film that surprise almost anyone's expectations, like the gladiator fight in the beginning. The aforementioned scene results in my favorite moment in the film, "Suppose you tell me what you're doing with my face!". The film isn't much to look at and the plot is messy, but considering it's short runtime, goofy script, and lines like "Take a good look you lump of hot piss!" it's a perfect dumb movie for a lazy Sunday.
