Terror Toons

you know what fuck it, this is a low budget trash masterpiece. i haven’t had this much mindless fun with a cheap flick before. it has cartoony arthouse production design reminiscent of weird theater plays in the 80s and 90s. bad acting that paired well with the low quality of special effects. and a vibe that’s just careless and free.

a live action looney tunes-esque gory film that’s actually original. amazing practical effects with the gore, very unhinged slimy textures to distract from poor executed aspects of filmmaking. even turning heads by genre-shifting similar to a ray dennis steckler film. hitting notes of oozing cringe, laughter and confusion.

i really think the blend of the toon force and gore is done beautifully. there isn’t a single boring scene, it continues on a roller coaster ride forever and you don’t even have to wait in line.

Okay this film is just filled with so much shit acting, writing, editing and effects (besides the gore). But to be honest this is like a cheaper darker, sillier, modern day Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Even though we could all acknowledge how terribly made this film is, everybody should appreciate how goddamn entertaining this is. 

This follows a whole funky and playful vibe. With the childish laughter effect, huge ass puppet figures, oversized murder weapons and shitty green screen that lead us into a whole world of gruesome and graphic acts.

They just said “fuck it, I’m gonna make the wackiest gore film ever”. Honestly everything works for me. I like the whole subplot of Satan being in control over the entertainment industry and how he looks for respect by releasing Terror Toons. I need to watch more of this to really grasp what the fuck is going though.
