The acting was unbelievably atrocious but the gore effects was truly something special. It's quite plain and stupid but I was not really expecting something so involved lol had a few laughs in especially with the best friend's "eyebrow" acting lmfao

it's october y'all. i'm going to try my best to watch as many horror movies i can (new watches and rewatches.) but we'll see how that goes because i've been ~hella~ slacking on watching movies since i'm a busy college student.

i wanted 'eat' to the first (((horror))) movie of this festive season because i've been thinking about this since the first time i watched it and i didn't know if i hated it or not. the second around i'm still not sure if i hated it or not. like the body horror was pretty dope at times and it some pretty cool moments. but the writing was a straight up mess and the acting was not that great. i have one question though: after those two douchebags roofied them and then [spoilers] her friend shot them in the junk, how the fuck did they drive home after that???? they were intoxicated and had drugs in their system wtf.

holy shit, this film got really crazy really fast and not in the good way. yes, it did bring the gore, but it was just a ridiculous story. at first, i was so into it and towards the end i'm just like "what the fuck is happening? this shouldn't be happening." it totally took a left turn for me (mostly the actions of novella's best friend is what did it for me.) but if you're into messed horror gore flicks, check out this mess.
