CW Briggs is a veteran insurance investigator, with many successes. Betty Ann Fitzgerald is a new employee in the company he works for, with the task of reorganizing the office. “There’s a word for people who think everyone is conspiring against them.”

“That’s right: perceptive!”

Definitely lower tier Woody with a thin plot that never really reaches the madcap status it aims for. Helen Hunt is normally fantastic but isn’t given much to do here beyond glower. Fun to see young Charlize Theron in a small role. Some good one liners as always but ultimately a skip.
