Frank Henenlotter's Basket Case, shocker, is a very dumb and bad movie but that's not exactly why I dislike this movie. Henenlotter made a movie that I'm extremely confused by. Is it supposed to be scary? It didn't scare me. Is it suppose to be funny? Because it wasn't. Was it suppose to be an ironic enjoyment? I laughed at its stupidity but it didn't hold up to something like Chopping Mall. What the fuck is this movie? There also seemed to be no overall point. I love bad shit that either has no point like Chopping Mall, or thinks it has a point like Fateful Findings, but because eof how deeply uninteresting it is apart from it bare-bones antagonist, the film feels like an exercise it just doing shit.

At least the effects were fun to watch. Horrendous, but fun to watch.
