I love the way this movie depicts the ego and thinking of directors and filmmakers, and the way they interact with the people around them when they become borderline obsessed with the projects they are involved with. It can be slow at times but it isn't to it's detriment. This movie is definitely underrated I love the plot that it's a movie about a guy making a late 60's B-movie but it's mostly about his personal life and relationships with his coworkers and the people around him, especially the part where he talks to his dad it's a little painfully real. I'm genuinely surprised because i randomly picked this movie out to watch based on the poster lol. It's cool to also see parts of the movie that is being made inside of the movie. The 2nd half of the movie is amazing as well. There are parts where you can tell visually he feels like he's being roped along into something that he doesn't feel like is his, something that is hollow, where he feels completely out of place, sunk cost fallacy. Absolutely underrated.
