Alien from the Deep

Two environmentalists go to an island on which the group E-Chem disposes of nuclear waste in a volcano, yes a volcano, in order to expose this group. They get caught, one of them can escape and meets a snake hunter, people shoot at each other and suddenly there is an alien.

It takes about 50 minutes to see something of the alien. Until then, the film is a kind of jungle adventure that is more fun than expected. The alien is a large full-size puppet that doesn't look particularly good, but you can only see a claw before the big finale. The acting is anything but good, but I really liked the characters. The film does not care whether the dialogues are good or the scientific aspects make even a little bit of sense and it is really extremely cheesy, but also really charming and even if I don't say that often the film is so bad it's good.
