To be completely honest, the first half of this movie was actually hilarious, it actually had funny jokes and good references to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I see the influence from TCM from most of the visuals and sound effects. The films soundtrack is really funny too, it all feels like a parody film before parody films were really a thing.
The second half is a little boring, maybe I just didn’t have the best viewing experience but most of it is just the same group trying to figure out how to end the outbreak, then a extremely long montage of people being attacked by zombies. I think if the movie stuck more to its comedic side it could’ve been a lot better.
Movie obviously did a pretty decent job with the practical effects, the movies budget clearly was not that high but it was used correctly.
I liked this film.
Ps I caught a boom mic in one of the scenes
