of all the old british rock outfits, the clash have to be on the lower end of bands that resonated with me purely because it wasn't until later in life that the punk aesthetic became attractive to me. regardless, their influence can't be denied and as a look into the band and the tumultous british politics scene of the time, the movie is serviceable. it pretty much fails in other regards. i can only recommend it if you are in any way interested in 'the only band that matters'
