One of the few examples of a "cursed film" that I'd say definitely has credence to the argument... Richard Stanley was truly put into a maelstrom of a project that he couldn't control, regardless of his awesome concepts and intents for the project. Grateful to see him make a comeback with The Color Out of Space.
I would love to see an extended version of this, I feel like you could get a wealth of material just from interviewing the unseen Val Kilmer and David Thewliss.
EDIT: Forgot to mention how phenomenally Ride or Die Fairuza Balk is/was, she was ready to sink her career for Stanley's vision and I respect that kind of solidarity and friendship so much.
