“If I miss this barbecue I’m going to be hearing about it until Christmas.”
And what a sad barbecue it is.
Decided to watch something American on 4th of July.
David DeCoteau brings an extra porny energy that bumps up the cheesecake business enough to make me blush. There’s nothing too weird except the stilted camp of DeCoteau attempting an action movie in the AIP/Sidaris vein. Linnea gets straight off a plane and into a shower before getting killed. It opens with a liquor store robbery. It is stupidly simple but so dry and slow it feels confusing.
The final action sequence is kind of worth the whole experience. Like the music rules and it’s got lots of bad movie goofiness but it really kicks off at the end.
