Name’s Bond… Jimmy Bond
The first (original) Bond film is… interesting..
Although Barry Nelson delivers a solid Bond performance, the writing is sometimes repetitive and poor and pace feels rushed.
Can’t deny that the film has some excellent set pieces, but there are many other issues with it.
It’s stripped of many of the elements that made Bond flicks so memorable.

Okay yeah it’s not that good and Barry Nelson is uninteresting but it’s not THAT bad it’s just not that special I’m shocked that the average rating is as low as it is .. Maybe I’m just too much of a Peter Lorre fan to think it’s that bad. Maybe people just watch this expecting it to be like a modern James Bond movie who knows
