incredibly disquieting introspection that perverts the listener and, through its structurally brutalist minimalism, forces them to assume the position of a truly depraved individual. transposing normalised brutality with brutalised normalcy to construct a diatribe against status quo, utilising the mindsets of those deemed insane by a society that is built on the same violence that it condemns... "serial killers do on a small scale what governments do on a large one. they are a product of the times and these are bloodthirsty times." ...the contrast of cataclysm and still encapsulates so much, and yet, through its simplicity, carries a multitude of meaning that is simply perfect. perversely love this.
