I cry very easily at a LOT of films, but ive never cried this much in my life towards a film, i promise u last 40 minutes of this is pure torture and ive been crying for at least an hour im not sure how to recover from this.
Dog films are a sensitive topic for me they always leave me in a state but this hit me in a whole other way.
‘You dont have to wait anymore, hes not coming back’
This line sent me in a spiral oh my gosh i had to pause for 10 minutes just get myself to stop sobbing,
the symbolicalness off the trees leaves falling in the background as the years pass by of hachi waiting, WHY💔💔
I dont wanna make an in-depth review as ill just be giving away spoilers and spoilers but the one thing that did catch me off guard the most is the fact this is based off a true story, the real hachi was waiting at the train station for NINE WHOLE YEARS i actually cant, im not sure i can ever watch this again
I need to go downstairs and hug my dog
