Color Me Blood Red
i know that to some this film wouldn’t be considered some cinematic masterpiece and i’d also have to say that i don’t also considered it to be one either but thats besides the point because what i loved about this one is it wasn’t one that was trying to actively take itself seriously and sure they could have done so much more with the story but the thing is in these herschell gordon lewis films is that it’s not so much about the story itself it’s more about focusing on the gore aspect of the film and that’s what alot of his films seemed to always be based around or focused on which i liked and i know im not trying to seem like one of those weird edgelords who makes watching gore their entire personality trait but it wasn’t me enjoying the gore in his films but more or so how very unrealistic and just oddly goofy it all seemed to look which made his films such hilarious ones to sit through and watch because i could just tell that the team behind the gore had to have a bit of fun designing and bringing many fake buckets of blood to then drench the supposed actors/actresses in and i have to say that if i were on the set i’d have a blast with all the fake body parts and buckets of blood that i’d have to be covered in because that’s one thing i love to see in film and to be apart of a film like this would be such an accomplishment for me but herschell gordon lewis was truly a pioneer for the splatter genre of films and one of my favorites when it comes to it but one thing i will say is that i do wish we got a bit more death sequences but nonetheless still a pretty decently made film.

so bad is good?

me encanta que parece que usaron la peor toma de cada escena, les valió que se escuchara mal o que la mitad de las veces ni enfocado estaba, hay que apreciar ese compromiso a hacerlo de hueva
