❝Sometimes it does take a monster to fight a monster.❞

They should never've tried to reboot the Mummy franchise, especially with such a bad execution.
The original films have solid plots, great acting and chemistry, excellent sets and decent CGI. This film had none of that except a good performance from Sofia Boutella.
The plot wasn't really interesting, and everything was so disjointed throughout the film. And then the sudden Russell Crowe appearance trying to introduce the new world of monster hunting was done so terribly and has no meaning at all. This film also relied very heavily on CGI rather than having a good plot, and although there were scenes that were impressive, it didn't redeem anything else.
Tom Cruise's acting was atrocious; I was shocked because he usually gives good performances, but the whole time he was on screen I cringed. Annabelle Wallis wasn't necessarily bad, but not good either. Sofia was the only one who was watchable.
Overall, I wish this film never existed and would only rewatch to make fun of it.
