What's most endearing about Rohmer's films is primarily his ability to showcase the beauty in everyday life, including nature, urban environments, human relationships, and especially the beautiful dialogues brimming with wisdom.

It's quite comforting to watch, to experience; it's light, natural, and always has very beautiful resolutions, and the tale of spring is no different.

After all, spring is the time of blossoming, of the revelation of what is new and wonderful in many different forms, colors and shapes.

Anne Teyssèdre is phenomenal in this, such a shame that she's not in more things. Also, these apartments all look so good. I need to step up my game. Good way to start Spring.
