what a treat! another one for the ‘these films are smarter than you think’ category, watching this unfold with its twists and turns was a delight. before this, max and I had spent ages trying to find Jodhaa Akbar to stream but to no avail and we were in the dumps. this lovely, hilarious movie totally changed up the mood. a little ironic that we went from a Mughal dynasty movie to some unfortunate brown face but otherwise a fabulous film 🙂‍↕️

At this point, if you showed me a movie of paint drying but you told me Shirley MacLaine had painted it, I would sit through it.

But don't worry, there's a reason why the tagline of this movie would rather you spoil the ending rather than the beginning. It's such a creatively fun movie that I think everyone should watch. Michael Caine is just so funny in this.
