Pretty good film. I started to lose interest around the 40 minute mark, but aside from that I had a good time with it. The sets are brilliant, especially the depictions of Hell, and it's impressive how ambitious and visually inventive the film is considering it was made in 1911. The imagery is memorable, the filmmaking is strong for its time, and it works well as an adaptation of Dante's poem. Recommended.
