Ben Foster is generational, genuinely one of the most under-appreciated actors of his era, and he deserves way more awards than he’s ever gotten.
The movie itself is just okay, nothing particularly memorable or surprising. And Elle Fanning was horrible. People act like she’s amazing, but crying a lot doesn’t automatically equal good acting.
Her voice is so annoying, especially when she was screaming.
Although her character deserved better.

I loved this film. I mean who doesn't love a road movie, especially set in Texas. It's mean, it's moody, it's brilliant.
Ben Foster stole the show for me, though Elle Fanning was pretty good too. It's a story that keeps moving, it never stays still, but it doesn't feel like it's getting away from you.
This is without doubt a film I'll watch over and over again.
