Visually, arguably one of Marvel's best work. The reality-bending is an absolute spectacle; the way the world moves is very inception-esque.
Strange starts as a man who is self-consumed by his ego, unable to take accountability for the fact that the car accident was entirely his own fault - but instead he blames every single other person
around him.
"Forget everything you think you know."
The story of a man fighting to defeat his ego is always a good one.
Now, the main great thing about this film is particular, is the visuals. Whilst some may have issues with it being very CGI heavy, I personally don't in this circumstance as it felt very necessary for the character and the plot (CGI is needed when the story centres around magic), and also because the CGI looked consistently great throughout.
In my opinion, Doctor Strange is potentially one of Marvel's best looking films in many ways, scenes such as when New York was being reality warped was very Inception-esque, which I enjoyed very much. I felt like the Kaecilius' motive could've been explained a little better, the plotline around the dark dimension wasn't developed as much as it perhaps should have been.
Overall, a very good film and is certainly one I will be watching again.
