not sure how i expected this movie to play out, but i think i was a little underwhelmed. from the synopsis i was hoping for a little more of the occult, but this was very much more grounded which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. gaby hoffmann was truly fantastic, not much else i can say about the rest of this though.

everyone is saying its the lesbian Rosemary's Baby but i havent seen that yet so i guess im agreeing with the masses on this one

Never trust a bitch named Karen. Pls don’t bring up child sacrifices in the middle of our conversation our child just died ma’am. 
I really love somber dramas that are super low budget they have a charm. 
I have thoughts and I like this movie. 
The only thing that I really did not enjoy was the fetus stock footage like I get it thematically but it being this random stock footage made it feel out of place and disconnected.
