When I was watching this I was thinking about Trick r' Treat, finding out after that this was from the same director. Krampus is a fun and interesting film, most of the characters are assholes but I didn't mind watching them, they did have scenes together that builds off of the previous hatred of each family member. The film genuinely looks and feel, mostly creepy, the mean spiritedneas of the film adds to the creepiness but also takes away from the depth of the characters. Finally, the opening of the film is fucking awesome.
