**Etoile’s **flawless fairy tale is enhanced by exquisite cinematography and a mesmerising, dark ambiance. This is one of the nicest discoveries I've made in a long time because of the major “Vertigo” references.
The fact that we don't actually know what exactly happened made this movie even more appealing to me. It's a horror film in my opinion. Ever since I first saw Black Swan and learnt that there was an 80s version, i knew i had to watch this.
I was captivated by Swan Lake 🦢
It deserves more recognition imo. Even if it's not that good, it's nevertheless worth watching because of its sophisticated tone, understated style, and eye-catching visuals.
Also, this movie taught us that you should never pursue professional ballet 🩰 anyplace in Eastern Europe. Some of us just learned that the hard way..
