It’s a very polite British drama where the villain happens to have a supernatural plot. It’s not really my cup of tea but was clearly well made. The lighting was intense and very noticeable which I thought was really fun but probably not meant to be. Plot felt really slow once it obviously clicked into place and you had to wait for the characters to catch up.
I found out late in the month that I couldn’t stream this so had to buy the blu-ray to stay on my original Hooptober list. It got delayed and delayed, but showed up just in time to be my final movie, so I have this nice physical souvenir to cap the marathon. Also seemed like a nice restoration even though I did no research into that.
