Great atmosphere and cinematography! But the narrative wasn’t engaging

The poster was so much cooler than the film. Watched because it was co-directed by Jack Hill and I enjoyed Foxy Brown. Not a lot of his stuff streaming. I knew it probably wouldn’t be for me once I saw it was black and white but gave it a shot.
