So wait how does Skynet killing John Connor in an alternate timeline lead to a different AI trying to kill a different pregnant woman in the past? Wouldn’t it just lead to the humans being leaderless when Skynet eventually took over the world, which was the entire point of the first theee movies? Is Skynet just an idiot?

Terminator Dark Fate is definitely the best sequel we got after the original two movies but it still feels a bit unnecessary It is awesome seeing Linda Hamilton back as Sarah Connor alongside Arnold and they easily give the movie its best moments Mackenzie Davis is also a total badass as the enhanced soldier and the action scenes are way more intense and better directed than the last few movies The major issue is the opening scene which completely throws away the ending of Terminator 2 and the new villain feels like a rehash of stuff we have already seen It is a solid action movie but it shows the franchise is running out of new ideas.
