Barry is a talented mechanic and family man whose life is torn apart on the eve of a zombie apocalypse. His sister, Brooke, is kidnapped by a sinister team of gas-mask wearing soldiers and experimented on by a psychotic doctor. While Brooke plans her escape Barry goes out on the road to find her and teams up with Benny, a fellow survivor – together they must arm themselves and prepare to battle their way through hordes of flesh-eating monsters in a harsh Australian bushland.

Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead
This film being Australian just makes so much sense and i cant really explain why its just fuckin does

Its low budget its high octane the violence is visually just ugly but also brutal and the story is nonsensical but i had fun and there was genuine attempts at character writing which sometimes worked but mostly felt melodramatic and not in a great way

Just a damn fun zombie movie with elements of mad max. I really like this bloody Australian b movie. The story has been done before but has enough original elements in to make to feel different. I like the hints to a bigger world and the characters were cool. In the end it won't change the zombie genre but it is a fun movie well worth your time.

Completely surreal experience. Felt like a YouTube original movie made by Machinima or Corridor Digital in all of the best ways. Incredible amounts of fun - bursting with life and originality. I respect it a ton and I’m definitely checking the sequel out soon.
