Seen a lotta westerns this year, some old and some new. This very much felt like an homage or a throwback to spaghetti westerns like Fistful of Dollars while trying to capture a bit of the edge of westerns like High Plains Drifter.
It's fine if you like westerns. It does have a charm to it in it's small scale, with it's quant town, simple story and straight forward motivations. It knows what kind of movie it's trying to be and it approaches it sincerely. But if you don't like westerns then it's just okay.
