Nothing wrong with this one, but I think that’s where its biggest flaws come from, The Eyes of Laura Mars offers good direction, an interesting yet relatively common storyline and a cast full of solid actors, but it doesn’t seem like anyone is on their usual levels of greatness, it’s not Raul Julia in Addams Family, it’s not Brad Douriff in The Exorcist III, it’s not Faye Dunaway in Network, it’s not Tommy Lee Jones in No Country, speaking of Jones, I don’t think I had ever seen such an early role of his, it popped me how while he still was pretty young, he looks almost exactly as he usually does, anyways, decent little film, but it had the potential to be so much more
