❝Tell me something I can hold on to forever and never let go.❞

The Age of Adaline is a pretty generic fantasy-romance; it's inoffensive and kinda average all-round. The concept is alright, but it's executed in an almost stupid way: for instance, Adaline not bothering to change up anything about her appearance in the many, many years she was alive. I wasn't a big fan of how the relationship between her and Ellis developed, because it felt like he kept pressuring her into seeing him, and to me the ending felt a tad rushed. Blake Lively's performance was decent, but not anything to write home about; I vastly preferred the acting from her colleagues in the cast, especially that of Ellen Burstyn and Harrison Ford. Overall, not too bad, but not very good, either.
